Top 4 US Music Festivals Comparison

Music Festivals Comparison
The weather is starting to get warmer, which means that music festival season is rapidly approaching. Music festivals have become extremely popular in recent years because there is something exhilarating about listening to great music surrounded by thousands of other people. Deciding between several great music festivals may seem hard, but the process is actually quite easy if you analyze the key aspects of each festival. Here is a comparison breakdown of the four of the biggest music festivals in the United States:

Governors Ball

Governors Ball takes place on Randall’s Island, a short ferry ride from Manhattan. Chance the Rapper, Phoenix, and Tool are headlining and year after year this festival consistently has incredible vibes. The food lineup, curated by The Infatuation includes some of the city’s best restaurants and vendors. You can get tacos, lobster rolls, and some of the best BBQ in town all in one day. That alone is reason enough to get a ticket. Plus, if you live in the city, you can sleep in your own bed. What could be better?

Bonnaroo

You will either love or hate the location of Bonnaroo. The festival takes place on an open campground in the small town of Manchester, Tennessee. This location helps Bonnaroo provide an old-school festival and camping experience. Cell phone and internet service will be spotty, so the technology offered in the festival is nearly non-existent. U2 may be the biggest headliner at any festival this year, but the rest of the lineup is a little disappointing. Bacon Land and the Food Truck Oasis should keep everyone in attendance stuffed with amazing food.

Location: D Bands: B- Food: A+ Cost: C Technology: D

Lollapalooza

It is hard to beat the location of Grant Park in downtown Chicago for a music festival. Lollapalooza is also delivering one of its strongest lineups in years with Chance the Rapper, Muse, Arcade Fire and The Killers headlining. The best restaurants in Chicago will be on the festival grounds all four days serving amazing food. Everyone in attendance will be given an RFID wristband that will be scanned at the entrance gates. It can also be linked to your bank account to make paying for food and drinks easier than ever before.

Location: A+ Bands: A- Food: A Cost: C Technology: B Austin City Limits

Austin City Limits

Austin City Limits is held in the beautiful Zilker Park every year. The lineup will be announced later this year, but Austin City Limits always features a great mixture of rock, folk and hip hop music. The festival will offer the same RFID wristbands used at Lollapalooza. There will be just under 40 award-winning chefs and restaurants at the festival serving delicious food to all of the music lovers. Austin City Limits offers a great three-day experience at a very affordable price. This is easily the best value of the top four United States music festivals.

Location: A Bands: N/A Food: A Cost: B Technology: B

Of course any music festival is a great time, but these 4 really highlight the best experiences out there. There are always the diehards who will argue for Burning Man to be on the list, but we felt that in particular isn’t quite meant for everyone. If you manage to hit it big at some point in the future, we highly recommend going to all 5 of them! They’re certainly experiences you’ll be glad for later on in life.

3 Ways to Save Money on Print Marketing

In the world of digital marketing and social media, you could be forgiven for thinking that businesses don’t care about flyers and other types of offline marketing any longer. However, while the need for print marketing is certainly no longer as large as it once was, there are many great benefits that can be gained from utilizing the powers of offline marketing today. Not only does offline marketing present an excellent opportunity to speak to and get to know your target market better, but it can also be a hugely useful tool, especially for smaller local businesses, when it comes to driving more traffic to your website and social media pages. In addition, those who run ‘bricks and mortar’ businesses such as a store or restaurant can use offline marketing to get more footfall through the door.

However, print marketing does not come cheap. The cost of designing, creating, and printing materials such as flyers and posters could leave you wondering whether it’s worth it, especially when a post on social media is more likely to reach more people and costs nothing! Thankfully, there are a few things that you can do to make offline marketing a more affordable strategy.

Tip #1. DIY:

Today, you don’t have to be a professional designer to put together some great looking print marketing materials. Even if you have never used Photoshop or a similar program in your life, there’s no need to worry – with services such as Adobe’s flyer template for you to use, all you need to do is pick the photographs, text and color scheme and you’re good to go! This way, you won’t need to pay a professional for the design work and can get a great deal for printing to make substantial savings.

Tip #2. Print in Bulk:

If you are printing out your marketing materials just a few at a time, then it’s likely that you’ll be paying more. Printers tend to give more discounts for bulk orders, meaning that the more flyers, posters, postcards or business cards that you print at once, the better the deal you will get. Bear in mind that you don’t always have to print hundreds of the same thing – if you have a few different flyer designs in mind, for example, you could print a few of each to take advantage of any bulk buy deals.

Tip #3. Use Online Printing Companies:

Print shops are a dying trade, especially as most of the information that we need is no longer required to be on paper. With email taking over direct mail and social media taking over the need for printed information, it’s no surprise that it can be difficult to find somewhere that will print your marketing materials on the high street. However, when looking online, it can be a whole different story. Online printers are still very much in business, and can often afford to charge lower prices due to having smaller overheads. This all results in a better deal for you!

Print marketing may be getting old-fashioned, but there are still plenty of good reasons to use it! But, don’t break the bank – there are plenty of tricks to help you save money.

Not only does it have practical value, shoe also protects your feet from collisions with hard objects or the impact of the external environment, as well as a powerful helper that honors the owner’s confidence. Therefore, if you want to buy the best suitable shoe for your own, you should look for the best one in reputable stores or famous brands. Furthermore, a pair of the shoes has to suitable with your foot and makes you feel comfortable and confident when wearing it. Therefore, the post are some experiences to choose footwear for each type of foot, please follow and experience more to get a pair of shoes that are most comfortable and comfortable for you.

1 The feet are big, rough and chubby

If you have big foot and get trouble with choosing the best shoes for standing all day as well as think that the shape of the feet often looks aesthetically pleasing if you try to squeeze them in too tight or too heavy straps, it’s best to stay away from shoes that are stuffy like doll shoes or high heels. In addition, you should avoid the type of shoes with highlights such as metallic, glittering stones and rounded nose.

The right way to choose

The type of shoe that is suitable for large and rough feet is sandals for baseball or block heels fashion. These types of shoes will help you to neutralize the feeling of raw feet, fat and feel strong. Furthermore, boots and sneakers are two types of shoe that can completely cover your legs.

2 The feet are thin and tendon

The tendon and thin skin of the veins is always a concern when choosing shoes. If you do not select shoes, your legs will reveal. For this form of foot, you should stay away from the maximum type of shoes such as shoe strings, lace-up shoes, flip flops and sandal straps.

The right way to choose

You just have to choose sandals or high heels that own large strings, covered front or motif rather than open-toed shoes, the design mule shoes is a good example for you. Other ways, you can choose brightly colored shoes and accents details such as bows and flowers to make your feet feel fuller and softer. However, you should make sure that you are also fit for “sealed” shoes such as boots and sneakers. In fact, sandal or mule shoes are also the best shoes for nurses because they are quite light and comfortable.

3 Banana feet (feet with toes split and raft)

For the uncomfortable feet, women should choose horizontal straps and nose to help “grab” the toes again. You should choose the form of shoes fit to the foot to make thumbs and big toe in the shoe as well as avoid picking shoes wider than the foot will help pain, deep and bottle thumb or big toe. Moreover, you should also notice that for bananas feet, you should not choose the shoes or flip flops because they will cause your toes excess.

The right way to choose

  • Should buy shoes in the evening. After a day of exercise, your legs will expand 5-10% more than normal. Choosing at this point will help you get comfortable shoes and feet.
  • Try and walk as much as you can around the shop to see if your feet are comfortable with moving shoes.
  • If the shoes are a bit tight, you should not buy and choose bigger one. Salespeople may say that many shoe-lengths will stretch, but that’s not the case. If wearing tight shoes will cause pain in the leg.
  • Your feet are often not equal, so choose shoes that are larger in size. With the other foot, you can use pads to fit the shoe.
  • Do not wear shoes too long, especially with high heels, after four hours you should rest your feet. Temporarily remove footwear to “breathe” and should regularly massage your heels.
  • Apply moisturizer before applying new shoes to avoid rubbing and scratching.

Each type of feet, you will have other choice of shoes, so before buying the shoe, you should know more about your type of feet and your purpose for buying shoe which will help you choose the best one for your own.

Hiring a Van for Your New Business: 4 Points to Consider

Choosing a van hire company to rent a vehicle isn’t easy as there are many options available regardless of where you are in the country. Most van rental businesses are reliable but, unfortunately, there are those out there that can’t fulfill your requirements. If you need to hire a van for your new business but you’re unsure of what company you want to handle your requirements, have a look at some of the below points to consider before signing any van hire contract.

1. Does the Van Hire Business Give You Access to Other Vehicles?

If you look at van hire Coventry for your van hiring needs, you’ll see that they offer thousands of different vans for different purposes. When hiring a van always make sure the company has other options for you in the future in case your needs change. A lot of businesses provide other types of vehicles for you to choose from, so if the needs of your business change, you’ll be able to adapt to another vehicle.

2. What Costs Are Covered?

Any good van hire company will not only cover the costs of any repairs to the van if needed but they’ll also offer breakdown cover should you experience any problems on the road. MOTs and services will also likely be free and the only cost that you need to cover is for the van hire itself. Look for a company that offers flat fees for van hire, or at least a company that keeps the charges simple so your business finances are kept in order.

3. Are Breakdowns Covered?

You’ll be surprised by how many hire van businesses don’t cover breakdown costs and you’ll have to either use your own cover or get your vehicle to a garage on your own terms. Most businesses offer this cover as standard, but always check to make sure you’re covered in case anything goes wrong. Van hire businesses will always offer presentable vehicles in excellent condition, but vehicles can suffer from mechanical problems regardless of how well maintained or new they are, so it’s always worth considering.

4. How Long Is the Contract?

Depending on the van hire company will depend on the contract lengths they offer. Some businesses will let you hire a vehicle for a day or two whereas commercial van hire companies may require you to have a contract in place to use the vehicle for a year or so. Only hire a van if it suits your terms and be careful not to sign any contracts if you feel your needs might change in future.

Hiring a van from a reputable company doesn’t have to be hard and if you look at online reviews and research a business in detail you’ll likely be in the right hands. Try and hire a van from a local company so you can get help and advice whenever you need it and you’ll find you can’t go far wrong.

An Unbiased Overview on the Realities of the Home Warranty Industry

The home warranty industry generally doesn’t  seem to have a good reputation. Stories abound of people who bought home warranties only to be told about obscure provisions in the contracts that invalidate their claims. The biggest question you’ll probably have about the home warranty industry is “is it a scam?” because of disheartening stories on how some unsuspecting home owners  fell into the traps of scam artists.

You may have heard conflicting stories about the home warranty industry and you might not be able to separate the truth, from the misrepresentation of facts, or outright falsehoods. Of course, we understand that some companies operating in the home warranty industry are shady; yet, their shadiness is not enough reason to paint the entire industry in bad light. Some companies might be shady but others have been running for 20+ years and providing excellent service to their customers.

Home warranty

The biggest cause of conflicts in the home warranty market

We have observed that one of the main reasons for the bad reputation of the home warranty industry is the unrealized expectations of homeowners. The absence of information on the obligations of homeowners and the responsibilities of the home warranty provider is the biggest cause of dissatisfaction in the industry.

Below are some factual pieces of information on what you can actually expect from your home warranty provider. We strongly believe that knowing the realities of the industry can help you disabuse your mind to the notion that all home warranty firms are out to fleece you.

The factual pros of home warranty

Your home warranty coverage puts the responsibility of repairing faulty appliances or systems in your home on the warranty company. The home warranty company might even foot the bill for replacing the item when a repair is not a viable option.

You don’t have to worry about conducting due diligence to find a reliable technician or contractor that will fix your damaged appliance or system. All you need to do is to call the home warranty company (an email could also suffice) and keep your fingers crossed while they send someone to your home.

A home warranty plan helps you to stay in control of your finances because you won’t have to worry about unexpected expenses to fix broken systems or appliances.

A home warranty plan can help you sell your home faster because it sweetens the pot for potential buyers. The warranty can give them confidence that won’t be paying out-of-pocket expenses to fix appliances.

The factual cons home warranty

Home warranty companies are in business, they want to make profits; hence, they’ll usually choose to repair a faulty item/system even when a replacement/overhaul might be the smarter option.

Claim processing will not move quite as fast you want when a blocked pipe is stopping you from using the rest room. The warranty company often need to shop around for quotes and the back and forth will look like needless delay to you. More so, contractors will need to wait for the company to ship in new components (where necessary) before they complete the repairs.

You probably know already that you’ll pay an annual premium (usually between $500 and $1000) on your home warranty. What you may not know is that you’ll need to pay a service call fee/deductible (between $50 and $100) each time you make a claim. Some warranty companies might also ask for a deductible on each damaged appliance.

Final words…

Buying a home warranty protection is supposed to give you a sense of security and it hurts when you file a claim and it appears that the company is trying to play a fast one on you. However, reading and understanding the terms before you buy a home warranty contract will protect you from unexpected unpleasant surprises. Understanding the realities of the home warranty industry will also help you make educated decisions when you want to purchase home warranty coverage.

Some of the Most Absurd WikiLeaks Revelations

WikiLeaks revelations
WikiLeaks has been the source of some of the biggest bombshells of the last few years. WikiLeaks’s revelation that Hillary Clinton ignored government rules for handling secret information via her personal, illegal server, and using that information for personal gain likely cost Clinton the 2016 election. However, those were only some of the many revelations released in drips and massive data dumps by WikiLeaks. What were some of the most absurd revelations from WikiLeaks?

Why Ariana Grande Couldn’t Perform at a Gala

Ariana Grande was originally slated to perform at a presidential gala, but her performance was canceled and it was all because of a video of her licking donuts. In the salacious video, she also talked about how she hated America. A Republican congressman used it as proof Democrats hate the U.S. Democrats decided not to have her at the gala to risk the invitation being used to make the DNC look worse. The entire scandal was called “Donut-gate” before it mercifully disappeared.

They Say Our Security Is Bad? They’re Idiots

Clinton’s illegal server was used to process top secret information. The fact that the server was hacked was proof its security was far from adequate. She didn’t even use agents for handling information while she traveled on diplomatic missions. Instead, WikiLeaks even reported that she had her maid handle classified emails that were printed out.

This stresses the importance of working with good and reputable data recovery services. Faulty Data recovery is at the center of many data breaches, unfortunately. However, companies such as Secure Data Recovery offer certified data recovery services and have a strong confidentiality contract that makes sure that most of the info is safe. In the event you need professional help, you should definitely drop by one of the many Secure Data Recovery locations around the country.

Stealing an Election? No, Just a Stolen Primary

Hillary Clinton complained of a stolen election, blaming everything from sexism to young Millennials who supported Bernie Sanders to Russians before the DNC decided to continue blaming Russia. The interesting thing is that WikiLeaks proved the DNC did steal an election, well, the Democratic primary. They stole it from Sanders. From January 2015 through May 2016, many Democrats communicated with media outlets to undermine Bernie Sanders. The Chief Financial Officer casually suggested having someone in a Q&A session question Sander’s faith, attempting to play on anti-Semitism to help Clinton win. Other DNC staffers used the phrase “Bernie Bro” to mock Sanders supporters, proof that Clinton’s campaign despised them even before she lost the presidential race.

One of the most absurd revelations of WikiLeaks explained why Ariana Grande wasn’t allowed to perform for President Obama. The Democrats mocking reports of poor security before the WikiLeaks and the FBI confirmed it is simply an outstanding case of ironic coincidence. It is absurd that Clinton’s campaign complains Russia stole the election, though it is true they did everything in the book and beyond the bounds of propriety to steal the Democratic primary from Sanders. WikiLeaks also revealed the absurd lengths Democrats have gone to trying to prove their false narrative of Trump as bigoted to be true. The Democrats saying Trump was crazy to think the debates were rigged were proven to be liars by WikiLeaks’ revelations of the absurd lengths the DNC went to in order to make Trump look bad during the debates.

What Trumps “Buy American” Policy means for American Steel

Donald Trump American steel
The campaign promise that propelled Donald Trump to the Presidency was likely his focus on American jobs after years of Democrats promising to do so but giving in to various fringe interest groups instead. Donald Trump has been passing a number of Executive Orders and signing bills with the intent to improve the American economy. How does the “Buy American” policy impact the American steel industry?

The Pipeline Projects

When President Donald Trump approved the Keystone Pipeline and Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL), he included a mandate that they use American steel “to the extent possible” to finish it. This is why American steelworkers cheered the approval of these pipelines.

President Trump signed a third executive order requiring all brand new pipelines built in the United States be built with American steel. His orders state that American steel should be used to a maximum extent for retrofitted and repaired pipelines, as well. An estimated 660,000 tons of steel will be used to finish the United States portion of the Keystone XL Pipeline alone. The Welspun facility in Little Rock, Arkansas accounts for half of the steel, while the rest is split between Evratz in Saskatchewan, ILVA in Italy, and Welspun’s India plant.

Buying and Hiring American for Other Infrastructure Projects

The “hire American” mandate is not likely to impact the American steel industry much since it already relies heavily on native-born labor. This is in contrast to the IT industry that relies on H-1B visas to keep labor costs down, though the stagnant wages in IT have driven a third of STEM graduates out of STEM fields and discouraged Americans from entering STEM jobs in the first place.

Iron products manufactured in the U.S. from semi-finished foreign steel are counted as imports under this order. This means American construction firms have to buy items that were made in the U.S. from the molten steel to its final, assembled version. If the project calls for a steel building and uses federal funds, they’ll have to try to buy American from the steel beams to their iron tools.

The Long Term Impact on Trump’s Buy American Order on the Steel Industry

Around 70% of the steel used in the United States is domestically produced; that percentage is certain to rise in response to Trump’s executive orders. The CEO of U.S. Steel said these “Buy American” orders would bring back ten thousand steel industry jobs. If Trump successfully jump-starts infrastructure spending on new roads, bridges, railroads, and pipelines, the demand for American steel and related employment and profits will only increase.

The Trump executive orders to “buy American, hire American” calls for agencies to investigate whether foreign steel manufacturers are dumping underpriced products in the U.S. to undermine our manufacturing capability. Since the steel industry has won several trade cases levying tariffs against foreign metal, bolstering the steel industry’s claims that this was happening, expect to see a decline in steel imports and greater demand for U.S. made steel, especially after Trump cancelled Saturday Night Live.

The World Trade Organization’s Stance on Domestic Buying Orders

The World Trade Organization allows for governments to set domestic procurement rules, such as a government requiring materials to be bought from domestic suppliers. Thus President Trump’s buy American rule can legally require per the WTO that new highways, bridges, and governments be built using American steel. U.S. federal contracting guidelines can also give preference to contractors who use as much American made metals as practical. The WTO does not see such preference for domestic labor and materials as protectionism, though Trump’s critics called the order that.
